Hello TCAAB family. I pray you have made it through the first part of the storm unscathed. With the information and forecasts we have right now, we believe it is best to cancel the worship service for tomorrow, August 27th. Lord willing, we will be back next Sunday, September 3, to worship the Lord and kick-off the fall. Students 7th-12th grade, join us Wednesday, August 9th, 6:30pm-8:30pm as we celebrate the end of our Summer study with a pool party at the home of the Donovan’s! Contact Ben Campbell for more info.  

Our next Women’s Ministry summertime event will be a Movie Play Date here at the “TCAAB Movie Theater” on Tuesday, August 1st at 10am. Moms and kids, bring your popcorn and water bottle and enjoy “The LEGO Batman Movie” together.

Our quarterly missions offering will be taken Sunday, July 30th. This offering will be used for the support of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention and our local association Tryon Evergreen Baptist Association (TEBA). Please prayerfully consider how the Lord would have you give towards these important groups.

Monday, July 17th from 7-9pm, our Women’s Ministry will be going to “Painting With a Twist”, 570 Sawdust Road, for a time of creativity and fellowship. The cost is $35. Contact Amanda Jones to sign up.

Moms and kids, please join us for a play date! We will meet at the May Valley Splash Pad on Tuesday, July 11th from 10am to noon. Bring a snack to share!

Students! Join us Wednesday, June 7th from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the church building, as we kickoff our Summer Study. Come hungry because we will be grilling hotdogs! We will also be learning about George Müller and discussing ways we can imitate his example of  faith.

We are having a VBS workday on Saturday, June 10th starting at 9am. Come help us turn the church building into a museum!

If you are the parent of a child 7th-12th grade, stick around after the worship service on Sunday, June 4th for a brief meeting. Students are also welcome to join.
