Nick Jones – Lead Pastor/Elder
Nick is a native Houstonian who came to TCAAB in July 2014. He and his wife Amanda have four lovely daughters that keep them busy. Nick has a B.A. from Houston Baptist University, an M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. You can follow Nick on Twitter.
Danielle Carmichael – Office Administrator
Danielle Carmichael became a member of TCAAB in January 2017, and joined our staff as Office Administrator in November 2018. She and her husband Jacob met in high school in Arizona where she grew up. They have four wonderful children: Adam, Hailey, Nia, and Eva. Her greatest joy is serving the Lord in the ministries here at the church.
Heath and his family came to TCAAB in 2014. He recently joined the elder team and oversees the Bridge Group ministry. He and his wife Amy have two daughters and two sons: Ella, Mia, Ben, and Jake. Heath is both a boot salesman and owns his own business where he designs, manufacturers, and sells fishing lures.
Guy and his family moved from Washington state to Texas in 2005 and came to TCAAB in 2011. They moved to Lagos, Nigeria for five years then returned to TCAAB in 2017. He and his wife Cindy have two daughters, Rachelle and Samantha. He and his family love to open their home to visiting missionaries, youth groups and Bridge groups. Guy is a geophysicist working in the oil and gas industry.
Steve came to TCAAB in 2016 after returning to Texas from Pennsylvania. He met his wife, Susan, and they married in 1979 while he attended Abilene Christian University where he graduated with a B.S. in Ministry and Evangelism. Steve’s daughter lives in Colorado with her husband and two children and his son lives in California with his wife and a daughter. He retired in 2015 and currently enjoys spending time with his three grandchildren.
Amy, originally from Florida, got to Texas as quick as she could and has been a member of TCAAB since 2009. She and her husband, David, were college sweethearts and have four funny kids. Amy teaches high school literature, but her greatest joy is to tell the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD and the wonders he has done.
Perry German – Director of Student Ministry – Elder
Perry and his family moved to Houston in July 2016 and came to TCAAB January 2017. He and his wife Danielle are the proud parents of three wonderful daughters: Karis, Sasha, and Gloria. Perry has his B.S. from The University of Tulsa and has completed some of the required course work towards his M. Div. at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Perry is a commodity broker by trade, but his passion is boasting in the glories and sufferings of Christ for the redemption of sinners.
